E against the current rumors that Porsche is currently working for the 911er develops a triple turbo, the next top model gets a double-charged six-cylinder boxer. The new 911 Turbo is expected to come onto the market in summer 2013 and has an output of around 530 hp. For even greater agility, the car has rear-axle steering and adaptive aerodynamics at the front and rear.

Quadruple turbo already being tested

At the same time, Porsche is already working on significantly stronger and more efficient engine concepts for the 911 generation after next. According to the information, this will even be equipped with a quadruple turbo. The Porsche developers are currently experimenting with a four-fold charged unit. When the super drive will be ready for series production is still open.

Even before that, probably at the Detroit Motor Show in early 2013, Porsche wants to present the weight-optimized 911 GT3. The car will be equipped with the latest generation of boxer engines and thus also with the PDK dual clutch transmission.
