N a, you can see him not using the extra portion of strength. Even laypeople can see that this Audi RS6 Avant does not roll on the standard wheels, but on the distinctive Bimoto rounds from MTM. Real connoisseurs may also notice that the chassis no longer completely corresponds to the series condition. But hardly anyone would expect that the four-liter twin-turbo V8 of this mid-range station wagon has 1,001 hp. But if MTM is not fooling us here - and this is certainly not the case with the traditional company - then that is exactly the truth.

Four digits for power and torque

Also for torque it easily has four digits. The maximum available 1,250 Newton meters are even electronically limited. In order to determine how much that is, the series values ​​are mentioned here: 600 hp and a maximum of 800 Newton meters. No wonder that driving performance has improved dramatically. The 2.2-ton power station wagon accelerates from zero to one hundred, for example, in 2.8 seconds; the production car needs eight tenths of a second longer for this exercise. The gap goes significantly further from zero to 200 km /h: 8.2 instead of 12.0 seconds. At top speed it only says: 'According to tire approval'. So it is quite possible that the MTM device will downright pulverize the maximum possible 305 km /h with the serial RS6.

The power upgrade works over several stages. With an additional control unit alone, MTM increases the power to 722 hp and the maximum possible torque to 950 Newton meters. Cost: 4,143 euros. 9,782 euros are paid by those who buy the standard engine control unitmodify and have MTM change the air flow, including the filter and suction. The result: 787 hp and a maximum of 1,030 Newton meters. With the 810 PS and a maximum of 1,060 Newton meters strong variant, a new exhaust system from the front silencer is added for 14,159 euros. In the version with 962 hp and 1,250 Newton meters (25,314 euros) the exhaust flies out again; a new turbo kit moves in for this. And if you book the 1,001 PS package, you will receive everything mentioned in this paragraph plus a transmission update, but also pay 37,636 euros for it.

Several options for exhaust and chassis

The exhaust system works with flap control, offers two black oval tailpipes and is available in a version from a front silencer (4,377 euros) and a version from a petrol particle filter (5,571 euros). There is also a small and a large solution for the chassis. The smaller one is a coil spring set that costs 877 euros and can be lowered to a range between five and 30 millimeters. It costs 5,068 euros to install the variant 4 coilover suspension, whereby the standard Dynamic Ride Control suspension is deactivated. The track can also be widened by 20, 30 or 40 millimeters per axle.
