VW is showing the Multivan Edition at the IAA Transportation 2022 in Hanover. The Edition is the sportiest version of the series to date.
The Multivan Edition special model is intended to underline the sporty side of the new T7. Volkswagen wants to achieve this with numerous black elements on the bus. The special model has now been presented at the Commercial Vehicles IAA in Hanover.,
Black paintwork and special decor
Painted in Deep Black pearl effect, the roof area of the Multivan Edition, including the A-pillars and the roof spoiler, is always presented. The dark-tinted windows in the rear match the look. The LED taillights are also darkened. On the side, the Multivan Edition is individualized by glossy black exterior mirror caps, black 18-inch Toshima alloy wheels and black foiling over the sill area, which also integrates the Edition lettering. In the tailgate, the foiling and lettering are stylistically resumed. At the front, it is the glossy air intake grilles that complete the range of black details.
The additional standard equipment of the Multivan Edition includes the IQ.Light LED matrix headlights and ambient lighting in the door area with the logo projection of the Multivan silhouette including Edition lettering. The special model comes as standard in the gray color Pure Gray, which provides a good contrast to the black roof. The contrasting colors Candy White, Energetic Orange Metallic, Indium Gray Metallic, Monosilver Metallic and Reflex Silver Metallic are also optionally available and can be ordered with all drive systems (PHEV, TSI, TDI). Prices start at 51,747 euros for the 136 hp petrol engine.
At the IAA in Hanover, the "Good Night Package" was also presented for the first time, which turns the new Multivan with a foldable mattress and blackout option into a light version of the camper.,
Conclusion
VW brings the new T7 Multivan as a special edition. This should emphasize the sporty side of the van with some black paint and various decorative foils. Technically, however, nothing changes.
