Vansports.de tuning for Mercedes E-Vito and V 300 d

Vansports.de does not care which drive the Mercedes van to be modified has - the tuning ingredients are largely the same.

For many years there was almost no alternative to the diesel drive in commercial vehicle-based passenger transporters such as the Mercedes Vito Tourer and its car offshoot, the V-Class. But even in this class, the electric drive is gradually catching on. Much slower than in other segments, but sustainable. The tuner Vansports.de, which specializes in such cars, reacts by adapting its program for the Mercedes V 300 d for its electric sibling E-Vito.

The aerodynamics package is called "VP Spirit", consists of a front spoiler lip, side skirts, rear apron and roof spoiler and makes the look of both vans even more dynamic. The parts of the E-Vito are colored light blue in order to showcase the new Vansport de sub-brand "e silent dynamic". The "e" of the same color in the corresponding lettering of course stands for electric and means: All activities at Vansports that revolve around the E-Vito and its somewhat finer colleague EQV will be bundled under this label in the future.

20-inch rims and 30 mm lowering

The color also appears on the rims of the E-Vito. Otherwise, the rounded bodies of the E-Vito and the V 300 d are the same. This is the design Aerorad VAED in the dimension 9x20 inches ET45. Despite the same rim size on both axles, the large vans have mixed tyres: 245/40 R20 at the front and 275/35 R20 at the rear. As a color alternative to black, a shiny metallic anthracite is available for the wheels. The key data of the sports suspension are also the same: it results in a lowering of around 30 millimeters for both the electrician and the diesel.

One key difference: while the E-Vito naturally does not need an exhaust, the V 300 d needs one. The double tailpipe positioned on the right under the rear apron is in elegant black and thus matches the color of the aerodynamic components mentioned above. The body is again foiled in green metallic.

Everything stays the same with the drives

The technical data for both cars remains unchanged compared to the production model. The electric drive of the E-Vito still has a peak output of 150 kW /204 hp and the highest possible torque of 366 Newton metres. The doubly charged two-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel of the V 300 d continues to deliver 239 hp and a maximum of 500 Newton meters.

Vansports.de is venturing into the field of electromobility for the first time - and in addition to the Mercedes V-Class in the V 300 d variant, it also takes care of the E-Vito. Thanks to the programs, the large-capacity vans are not technically faster, but at least optically.
