D he Toyota Century, which is only offered in Japan, is considered to be classic luxury sedan, with classic primarily referring to the design. This has only been carefully developed since the first edition in 1967. In other words, the new Century still looks old as usual. The vertical front carries a wide and high chrome grille. Modern LED headlight units were positioned alongside. The daytime running lights in the apron also use LED technology. The silhouette does not want to flatter a modern coupé line, but relies on clear shapes and a high passenger compartment that extends in a mighty C-pillar towards the trunk.

The middle and a further lowered vehicle floor make getting in and out easier. The interior is lined with exclusive fabrics made of pure wool, with fine wood applications. The two individual seats in the rear can be electrically adjusted in many ways and offer a massage function. The electrically adjustable footrest is new. The electric curtains in the rear have proven themselves. All comfort functions can be controlled from the rear via a central control panel in the center armrest. On board, of course, are fold-out desks, reading lights and an entertainment system with a large flat screen that is linked to a high-end audio system.

And just as naturally, the Toyota Century brings up all available assistance systems. The luxury liner will again only be available exclusively on the Japanese market from mid-2018. Prices have not yet been announced.
