Modern design quotes history

M with a length of 5.195 meters and a width of 1.931 meters, the study even exceeded the dimensions of a Mercedes S-Class. The series model presented now remains optically very close to the study. The luxury liner presents itself with tight overhangs and a long bonnet. The passenger cell moves back, the roofline appears coupé-like and the rear appears flowing. Strong beading on the sides, strongly flared wheel arches at the rear and a large radiator flanked by LED headlights give the Buick Avenir (in German: future) an elegant but also sporty attitude. The sedan rolls on 19 or 20 inch rims. The study was still on 21-inch light alloy wheels with a multi-spoke look. Of course, GM's Buick brand also endeavors to develop historical models such as the Riviera or the Wildcat II concept from 1954 in its future design. System that optionally sends its 310 hp to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic. The driver can pre-configure the chassis at the push of a button.

Four people in the Buick LaCrosse Avenir

The interior offers space for four people - individual seats are also installed in the rear, which are separated by a continuous center console . Two screens integrated into the backrests of the front seats are intended to entertain the rear passengers. The on-star system 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot is also on board.

At the front, the driver grips a classic three-spoke steering wheel and looks at a futuristic cockpit with a digital display. Overall, the design of the dashboard looks very understated, with a 12-inch color touchscreen in the middle providing the driver with additional information. Below is the control for the air conditioning. The entire interior seems to nestle around the passengers.

The Buick LaCrosse Avenir will go on sale in the US in early 2018. Prices have not yet been announced.
