T echnically the Brabus operation brings one with both models significant increase in performance of the four-liter V8 biturbo with it. New turbochargers with a larger compressor unit result in a boost pressure of 1.6 bar.

A new control unit also ensures optimized injection and ignition as well as a modified one Boost pressure control. Thanks to this “heart transplant”, the V8 has 188 more horsepower and an increase of 100 Nm compared to its series counterpart. Accordingly, the eight-ender develops 800 hp at 6,700 /min (Coupé: 6,100 /min.) And provides a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm at 3,600 /min. to disposal. After the performance cure, the Brabus 800 and the Brabus 800 Coupé sprint from zero to 100 km /h in 3.1 seconds. The Bottropers give the top speed of 300 km /h.

In order to set the eight-cylinder in scene acoustically, Brabus has installed a stainless steel sports exhaust system with valve control on both models. It can be controlled from the cockpit at the push of a button. The two-pipe tailpipes on the left and right were also painted black to match the paintwork of the show car.

A lot of visible carbon was built in -Parts on the front spoiler lip and the front apron attachments as well as carbon design elements on both front fenders. At the rear, the carbon fiber diffuser with cutouts for the sports exhaust system and a rear spoiler round off the styling concept.

Brabus is bringing the new 21-inch lens-look models to the Geneva Motor Show 2018.

The Coupé also has a carbon rear spoiler in a different outfit and carbon attachmentsin the rear apron and a diffuser tailored to the coupé.

The eye-catchers at the Geneva Motor Show at Brabus are the new 21-inch light alloy wheels with a full-screen look. The forged wheel has ten larger and smaller openings whose function is also a better venting of the brakes. The new rims are fitted with 255/35 ZR 21 at the front and 295/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle. In addition to the disc rims, Brabus also offers 22 inch multi-spoke rims with 255/30 tires on the front axle and 295 /25 tires on the hindquarters. To match the low-profile tires, Brabus lowers the chassis by approx. 15 millimeters with a special control module.

Noble leather upholstery in the 800s

In the interior, Brabus sees leather in black on the 800 and 800 Coupé or light brown. Both leather versions have a special quilted design as well as piping and seams of different colors. For the cockpit there are real carbon elements in a glossy or matt finish, plus aluminum elements such as shift paddles, pedals and door pins. Wood inlays are also available. Door sills with an illuminated logo, which can be displayed in different colors to match the interior lighting, round off the cockpit. Prices for the Brabus 800 and the Brabus 800 Coupé were not mentioned.
