If a model is ennobled with the title Masterpiece at Brabus, then it has been refined down to the last detail. At the Monaco Yacht Show, the people from Bottrop presented the Brabus 600 Masterpiece, a luxury liner based on the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 Prescribe Masterpiece – to its interior. The four-liter V8 biturbo engine happily gains 97 hp thanks to the influence of two new turbochargers and additional control software, bringing it to around 600 hp. The maximum torque climbs by 100 Nm and is finally 800 Nm. The 2.3-ton luxury liner accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h due to the high vehicle weight. The plus in driving dynamics is accompanied by the adjustable sound of a stainless steel sports exhaust system with flap control. If you want to announce yourself to the servants in good time, you can also do without the quiet coming home mode. The issue of performance is ticked off.
Of course, a masterpiece like this has to stand out visually from a boring Maybach. This is ensured by various carbon add-on parts. At the front sit a new front spoiler lip and front apron attachments. At the rear, a diffuser with tailor-made cutouts for the two rectangular tailpipes of the sports exhaust system and the discreet rear spoiler round off the styling concept. A perfect visual complement to this is the shadow chrome coating for all body trim parts that are chrome-plated ex works. The 22-inch light-alloy rims, which Brabus places in the wheel houses together with 265/35 tires at the front and 305/30 tires at the rear, are available in various designs. 20 millimeters lower for the body with the additional module for the air suspension. A shell-shaped quilting of the leather in selected areas of the interior and trunk ensures a perfect finish. The seat surfaces are perforated for optimal ventilation.
