2 019 the British luxury car manufacturer Bentley is 100 years old. As early as 2018, the British can look back on 99 years of Bentley and have had a very special Mulsanne built by Mulliner, which W.O. Bentley's self-drawn model - the 8 liter from 1930. In order to also manifest this reference in hard metal, each of the 100 special models that have now been launched has a disc of the crankshaft from W.O.'s personal 8 liter. Bentley.

In addition, the Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner, which is based on all three Mulsanne variants (V8, V8 Speed, V8 EWB) depending on customer requirements, of course to offer other special features. Matching the black exterior paintwork, the light alloy rims are also presented in black paintwork. Anniversary badges and various chrome components provide shiny contrasting points.

Crankshaft in discs

The interior, of course, revels in the finest leather and fine woods. Customers can choose from various exclusive versions. A bar compartment with engraved crystal glasses and an engraved crystal carafe unfolds between the two rear seats. The bar table shows a representation of the Bentley 8 liter front as well as the already mentioned crankshaft fillet with a corresponding, engraved note under a viewing window.

The Bentley 8 liter was probably the most luxurious model of the British in 1930. The 8-liter in-line six-cylinder made the 8 liter over 160 km /h fast and extremely quiet. The chassis number GK706 became Bentley's own car, further refined by Mulliner. The car was sold in 1931, and the car manufacturer Bentley took it back into its possession in 2006. In the course of the restoration, the crankshaft was replaced - the original component has now been filleted for the 100 special models.
