In 1998 Woebcken moved to Dürr AG, where he was Managing Director for Sales, Marketing and After Sales until 2004. In 2004 he switched to BMW AG. As a division manager, he was initially responsible for technical purchasing and later for the entire vehicle purchasing department, raw material management and indirect purchasing. In this position he also worked closely with the new VW boss Herbert Diess. Most recently, he was responsible for the area of ​​driving dynamics for all product lines of the BMW Group. This included the responsibility for purchasing, component production and process chain management with development. In 2014 Woebcken moved to the Executive Board of Knorr Bremse AG.
