VW Elektro-Lavida especially for China

VW: Additional investments in China

Volkswagen invests an additional 1.6 billion euros in China. 'The growth in the Chinese auto market has exceeded everyone's expectations,' said VW CEO Martin Winterkorn on Monday at the Beijing auto show. Volkswagen is now planning a total of six billion euros in new investments in the world's largest car market from 2010 to 2012. Among other things, two new plants are to be built.
