D he new basic petrol engine in the Volvo V40 T2 develops 120 hp and 240 Nm from a 1.6-liter displacement. The average consumption should be 5.3 liters per 100 kilometers. The basic price for the new petrol engine is given as 22,550 euros.

All-wheel drive for the Volvo V40 Cross Country T4

The consumption of the 1.6-liter turbo diesel in the Volvo V40 has been reduced D2. As a six-speed manual switch, the diesel should now only consume 3.4 liters. The optional power shift dual clutch transmission for the diesel is new. The consumption then increases to 3.9 liters. In cross country, the diesel comes to 4.1 liters.

The latter will also get another all-wheel drive version from May. At prices from 31,580 euros, the 180 hp two-liter five-cylinder petrol engine in the Volvo V40 Cross Country T4 can then be combined with all-wheel drive.
