Volvo is recalling 192 vehicles worldwide. In Germany, 20 vehicles are affected.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) and the car manufacturer Volvo have started a recall campaign for vehicles of the types V60CC, XC60 and XC90. Currently 192 vehicles are affected worldwide, 20 in Germany and 74 in the USA. , Investigations by Volvo Cars have revealed a possible problem with the steering gear, which is due to a manufacturing defect at the supplier. In rare cases, double screws were placed on top of each other in the screw assembly station. There is a risk that the steering wheel will lock if the screw falls into the gearbox housing.
