Valentino Balboni: Lambo legend builds Lambo accessories

V alentino Balboni retired in October 2008. Before that, he was a test and development driver at Lamborghini for around 40 years and put all models from the Miura SV to the Gallardo on the tooth. In 2009 the sports car maker honored him with a special edition of the Gallardo - the rear-wheel drive LP550-2 Valentino Balboni.

In 2016 Balboni is back, not in the service of Lamborghini, but in services for Lamborghinis. Balboni develops and manufactures highly exclusive sports exhaust systems under the “VB” label. His debut is an exhaust system made entirely of titanium for the Lamborghini Aventador LP-750 SV.

The exhaust system is created in 350 hours of manual work and, in addition to a killer sound, should weigh only 6.3 kg. Of course, the titanium system is strictly limited. Balboni is still silent about the price.

The exhaust system can be heard and seen for the first time at the Concorso Italiano on August 20th in Pebble Beach.
