Update for VW Tiguan: New engines and infotainment systems

Two-liter engine with more horsepower

D he 140 hp engine is now being delivered with 150 hp, the 177 hp 2.0 liter now makes 183 hp. According to VW, CO2 emissions have been reduced by up to 17 grams per kilometer. All engines in the VW Tiguan meet the Euro 6 emissions standard.

VW is upgrading the Tiguan's infotainment systems

In the new model year, all radio systems will have 'Composition Color' and 'Composition Media' replaced. They include, among other things, a multi-colored touchscreen, eight loudspeakers and various connections for external devices. In addition, the customer can optionally use the two radios with 'App Connect'. This enables the integration and use of numerous smartphone apps from the Google and Apple stores. 'Media Control' is also available. With this infotainment extension via app, functions can also be controlled from the rear via a tablet (such as navigation inputs, station selection, etc.).

VW also offers the 'Discover Media' radio navigation system in the Tiguan . It is equipped with the 'Guide & Inform' online services package as standard.
