N eu on the petrol side is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with 82 hp and 118 Nm torque. The performance data are unchanged, but the new triple meets the Euro 6 emissions standard. With the 82-PS petrol engine, the 208 should accelerate from zero to 100 m /h in 12.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 178 km /h. The standard consumption is 4.5 liters.

Also with three cylinders and 1.2 liter displacement is the second new gasoline engine. Thanks to turbocharging, however, it produces 110 hp and 205 Nm of torque. The three-cylinder replaces the 1.6-liter with 120 hp. The new engine accelerates the little Frenchman to 100 km /h in 9.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 km /h. The standard consumption is specified as 4.6 liters.
The Peugeot 208 has also been refreshed on the diesel side. Instead of the previous 1.6 e-HDi engine, the 1.6 BlueHDi 120 of the same size is now used. The power increases by five to 120 hp, the maximum torque increases to 300 Nm. The diesel engine powers the 208 to 100 km /h in 9.4 seconds and enables speeds of up to 190 km /h.
All three new versions can now be ordered. The 1.2 PureTech 82 is available from 14,950 euros, while the 1.2 PureTech 110 in the upscale Allure equipment costs at least 18,500 euros. The new diesel starts at 20,700 euros.
