Z around model year 2017, all Toyota Highlanders with six-cylinder engines will get the new one Missed 3.5-liter V6 gasoline direct injection, which is combined as standard with a new eight-speed automatic and a start-stop system. The new V6 will also be adapted to the existing hybrid drive. The four-cylinder models continue to rely on the 2.7-liter gasoline engine in combination with a 6-speed automatic. The hybrid models also come with a CVT transmission.

The sporty equipment level SE with 19-inch alloy wheels and leather interior is also new. The new model year can be recognized by the redesigned radiator grilles. The rear view is enhanced by new lights. Depending on the equipment level, there are additional chrome elements on the body.

The safety equipment of the Toyota Highlander has also been expanded. The standard equipment now includes the Safety Sense system, which combines, among other things, a collision warning system, an emergency brake assistant, a lane departure warning, high beam assistant and adaptive cruise control.

The new Toyota Highlander will roll out to US dealers in autumn. Prices were not mentioned.
