It was a meeting of automotive superlatives. In Newport Beach, California, the local Lamborghini dealer organized a very special Motoparty ( A article ). Only guests were invited whose sports cars could share the wind with at least 320 items. So only very potent vehicles.
Bugatti Chiron pulls everyone away
The organizer made no distinction between series and tuning. We do. We took the high-performance meeting as an opportunity to look around the market for sports cars that run at least 320 km /h. The Lamborghini Huracán LP 580-2 and Porsche 911 Turbo just about slip into the list with 320 items. In contrast to calibers like the Audi R8 Spyder V10 or Mercedes AMG GT R. Both plow over the asphalt at 318 km /h. Nevertheless, the bouncer waves: “You can't get in here.”
The Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren 650S and Ferrari F12 have no problems. This also applies to the hybrid faction around the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari. They are all running at least 345 km /h. And who pulls everyone off at top speed? Of course, the Bugatti Chiron. The new super sports giant whizzes down the straight with 420 things - before the software curbs the temperament of the W16 turbo.
In our photo show, we show you the cars that are 320 km /h or faster. If you still have a sports car in mind that does not appear in the gallery, please feel free to write to us.
