The operators of the French motorways have announced a toll increase for 2023. E-car drivers drive cheaper despite price increases.
Prices for using French motorways will increase by an average of 4.75 percent from February 2023. As specified by the Sanef motorway company, which operates the routes in the north and east of France, the increases vary between 4.62 and 4.81 percent depending on the route.
Discounts for commuters and e-cars
However, in coordination with the French government, the operators are granting all e-car owners who use the French motorways a discount of five percent.
