The best cars of 2011: The winners of the minicars

E r is a long-runner in the 'Minicars' category and it is It almost gives the impression that the Mini is also the namesake for this section of our readers' choice 'The Best Cars 2011'.

Mini far ahead in the import ranking of minicars

Because, as in the previous year and the year before, the little Munich-based company won the gold medal with 39.6 percent of the readers' votes. Number two in our readers' poll is also an old friend. The Fiat 500 is a long-running favorite with our readers and was voted second with 19 percent. The bronze rank this year was won by the Smart Fortwo from last year's third Ford Ka. 13.7 percent voted for the city car from Hambach in Alsace, while the Ford received 9.7 percent of the readers' votes.

Suzuki took third place in the import ranking

Also in the import ranking would put the Mini on in our readers' poll 'The Best Cars 2011'. 47.4 percent gave the little one their vote, followed by the Fiat 500 (25.1 percent). The Suzuki Swift was also able to assert itself in third place. With quite a large margin, but still with 5.2 percent of the readers' votes.
