The best cars of 2010: upper middle class

Class result for the Mercedes E-Class: In the readers' choice of auto motor und sport, Mercedes E-Class / CLS together in first place. Second place goes to the A udi A6 /Allroad.

Overall victory for Mercedes - Jaguar XF best import vehicle

While the Mercedes E-Class and the Mercedes CLS competed separately in the previous year, they combined 35.8 percent of the readers' votes this year. The Audi A6 /Allroad follows in second place with 27.6 percent. Compared to the previous year's result, the A6 lost almost eleven percent of the votes. For BMW 5er /GT (20, 8 percent), both of which were presented anew last year, was enough for third place overall. The Jaguar XF ranks fourth first non-German brand (4.6 percent), followed by Skoda Superb , for which 2.7 percent of readers cast their votes. The Citroen C6 completes with 1.1 Percent of the top six.

The good result of the Jaguar XF also underscores its superior victory in the category of the best imported vehicles in the upper middle class. At 29 percent, it is well ahead of the Skoda Superb (24.2 percent). In third place are Volvo V70 /XC70 (8.0 percent) before the Lexus GS (6.9 percent share of the vote).
