D he design philosophy of Suzuki goes by the name' Liquid- Flow-Design ', gives the iK-2 dynamic lines and is strongly reminiscent of Kodo from Mazda.

Suzuki iK-2 with downsized turbo gasoline engine

The front of the just above 4 meter long, 1.92 meter wide and 1.45 meter high iK-2 defines a radiator grille with wide bumpers and LED front headlights. Suzuki accentuates both elements with chrome. The strongly modeled wheel arches under which 18-inch rims with 225/45 tires are hidden are striking on the flanks. The rear end is initiated by a gently sloping rear window.

The sloping rear vehicle is based on the new B platform. It should help to increase the rigidity of the vehicle while at the same time reducing the weight. Suzuki is also planning to combine the four existing platforms into three platforms. A one-liter turbo gasoline engine with direct injection is used as the drive source in the Suzuki iK-2. The later production version, which Suzuki wants to bring to Europe in 2016, will be expanded to include an integrated starter generator for the mild hybrid.

Incidentally, the Suzuki iK-2 is not intended to replace the Suzuki Swift. Rather, the Japanese want to expand their compact range.
