Strengths that the uncompromising BMW M2 presses out of the battered rubber as well as any weakness. The realization after days of torture: For the Michelin road, for the dry Racetrack Pirelli. The judgment can be enforced.

Wheels tested

At the sport auto tire test of the 2018 season only wheels from the BMW accessories program were used. The M-Performance forged wheels 763M with 10 spokes in Y-shape for M2, M3 and M4 vehicles are directly derived from motorsport. For maximum strength and low weight, high-strength forged blanks are milled over in a complex process with a high surface quality. Compared to the four 19-inch rims of the standard styling, the M2 has a weight advantage of around three kilograms. Driving dynamics and articulation behavior are to be further improved.

The wheels available for the M2 in 19 inches, for M3 and M4 also in 20 inches are only supplied in black matt with milled M-Performance lettering in the rim flange . The eye-catching M badge is another eye-catcher. The 763M wheels are offered exclusively through the original BMW accessories program and can be ordered from any BMW dealer. A 19-inch set for the M2 including Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires (as inTest presented) comes to around 5,120 euros. Further information is available at: www.shop.bmw.de
