Subscriptions & booklets

Since 2015 Subaru has had the L evorg as the successor to the Legacy in the model range. The mid-range station wagon has now been revised for the 2018 model year. The design has been subtly handcrafted, and the range of equipment for the Japanese has been updated.

Subaru
New lights upgrade the face of the Subaru Levorg for the 2018 model year.

Die From now on, the refreshed front section of the Levorg is characterized by C-shaped LED daytime running lights, which are integrated into the LED headlights. Also new are the dynamic cornering lights, which are now standard, as well as the LED fog lights. Subaru also has front apron, grille and Rims revised, which should make the station wagon both sportier and more elegant.

For the 2018 model year, however, the interior was also touched. Here you can find modified trim strips as well as innovations on the center console and door panels. The driver looks from his seat, which from the medium equipment line Comfort now has an electrically adjustable lumbar support as standard, on a clearer dashboard. A newly designed, now 5.9-inch multifunction display (previously 4.3-inch) provides all the important information, the higher resolution and a new menu structure are intended to simplify operation. There is no separate monochrome display for the air conditioning system. For the first time, the rear seat can be folded down in three parts at a ratio of 40:20:40.

CVT transmission with more speed levels

New in the Levorg and Subaru is the stop-hold function, whichThe vehicle automatically stops in the same position after braking, even if you take your foot off the brake pedal - the vehicle does not start again until you press the accelerator pedal. For even more safety, the active lane guidance assistant is already active from a speed of 60 km /h (previously 65 km /h). The new Levorg in the top Sport version is the first Subaru to have an interior mirror with camera function. When the mirror monitor is activated, a camera (placed in the upper area of the rear of the vehicle) transmits an image of the rear area to the interior mirror. The Levorg from model year 2018 is also the first Subaru model to have a front view camera. This projects an image of the area in front of the vehicle onto the multifunction display in the cockpit. The camera was integrated into the front grille under the Subaru emblem.

There was no change on the engine side. Here the 170 hp 1.6-liter boxer engine remains the all-wheel drive's only source of power. The four-cylinder petrol engine now brings its power to the road via a CVT transmission with seven instead of the previous six gear stages. For even better noise comfort, Subaru has also improved the insulation in many areas.

The Subaru Levorg of the 2018 model year from now on at an unchanged basic price from 29,990 euros for the trend equipment. The Comfort equipment version costs from 32,900 euros, the Sport version is available from 37,200 euros.
