Streamline Automotive is a spin-off of the automotive supplier Fablink, which builds small series electric cars according to customer requirements.
The demand for electric vehicles is growing across all classes. The British automotive supplier Fablink also wants to benefit from this trend and has set up a new subsidiary, Steamline Automotive. That should earn its bread and butter as a development partner and contract manufacturer of electric cars.
Build what the customer wants
The focus is on startups without their own production capacities, small series for large car manufacturers or special vehicle construction. The capacities at Steamline are sufficient for small to medium quantities. It offers a competitive turnkey manufacturing solution for mixed material architectures including body panels, lightweight chassis and bonded structures as well as complete vehicle assembly. Customers are also assisted with sourcing strategies for parts and components, including powertrains and batteries for electric vehicles.
Steamline Automotive does not have any current projects yet.,
Conclusion
With Steamline Automotive, another contract manufacturer with development expertise is entering the market for electric cars. Small series and medium quantities can be manufactured for customers. Own projects are not pursued so far.
