Ssangyong has T ivoli developed a long version that was presented to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show becomes. The Ssangyong XLV will be available from dealers in Germany as early as June 2016.
The rear overhang is extended
With an unchanged wheelbase of 2.60 meters, the new XLV 4 measures 40 meters in length. The increase of 23.5 centimeters fully benefits the trunk volume, which is a full 720 liters. The XLV largely takes over the design from Tivoli. Only the side window front has a third window between the rear door and the C-pillar. Accordingly, there is no upward swing in the rear door.
The well-known 1.6-liter engines are available for propulsion: the 128 hp e-XGi160 petrol engine and the e-XDi160 diesel engine with 115 hp. Both engines can be combined with front-wheel and all-wheel drive. Power is transmitted by a six-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic. Cruise control, two-zone automatic air conditioning and a 7-inch TomTom navigation screen are also included as standard.
Prices for the new Ssangyong XLV have not yet been named.
