D he Swabian sports car manufacturer Porsche has several new models sent on test drives. After only the coupé and convertible versions of the Carrera and Carrera S of the new Porsche 911 generation 991 have been presented so far, we still have to wait for the sportier versions. However, our Erlkönig photographer has already caught the new Porsche 911 GT3.

Model offensive by Porsche

A modified model of the Panamera was also spotted, because the sports sedan is getting a faclift and features a newly designed front section and a new rear. The new generation of the Boxster is worth seeing among the Porsche Erlkönigen. The sports car, known internally as 981, is initially powered by the well-known six-cylinder boxer engines with 2.9 and 3.4 liter displacement, but a four-cylinder with turbocharging is already being developed. The new entry-level model will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.

AMG versions of Mercedes A- and B-Class

The sporty Mercedes subsidiary AMG is also very active in testing new vehicles in Swabia. So we were able to get hold of the new B-Class and already the upcoming A-Class in AMG trim. The A25 AMG and B25 AMG are powered by a 320 hp four-cylinder turbo engine.

Of course there are other sporty prototypes that were on test drives in December. The spectrum ranges from the Hyundai Veloster Turbo to the McLaren MC4-12C Cabrio.

All other sporty Erlkönige in December 2011 you can see in the photo show.
