Skoda plans notchback sedan for India

Vahland wants to double sales by 2018

With this model strategy adapted to the markets, Vahland wants to achieve the goal of to double sales from currently 762,000 units to 1.5 million by 2018. With the expansion of the model range for the emerging countries, the importance of the European market will decrease significantly in the future. According to the forecasts, 60 percent of Skoda models will be sold in emerging countries in the future, only 40 percent in Europe. Currently the ratio is reversed.
