Shelby Ford F-150 Super Snake: 750 hp in a power pickup

B With Shelby you not only build muscle cars but also muscle trucks. Brand new in the range is the F-150 Super Snake, which is based on the Ford F-150 Raptor. Only 150 copies of the power truck are to be built, optionally with all-wheel drive or only with rear-wheel drive.

The new engine makes the F-150 a super snake. Here Shelby relies on the five-liter V8 known from the Mustang Super Snake, which is combined with a powerful compressor and thus makes 750 hp. There is also a Borla sports exhaust system and a revised chassis.

Raptor price almost doubled

The look of the Super Snake is based on a new hood with power domes and air intakes. The front apron gets a spoiler and larger air inlets. The grille is grilled with wire mesh. The sill areas have wide panels that are extended behind the rear wheels with additional attachments. A new bumper forms the rear end. The loading area is provided with a solid cover. Of course, the Super Snake is provided with a special paint, contrasting vertical stripes and a Shelby decor. Chrome-plated 22-inch rims with 305/45 tires rotate in the wheel arches.

Shelby enhances the interior with various Shelby logos, new floor mats and darkened windows.

Available is the Shelby F-150 Super Snake with prices starting at $ 96,680. A Raptor at Ford starts at just under $ 50,000.
