Although the Seat main plant Martorell builds the Audi Q3 - and is therefore busy - there will be no Seat version of the Q3, the VW group decided. A small, sporty SUV based on the VW Tiguan under the brand S eat . A series version of the Tango roadster study will not be available initially for cost reasons. It is still questionable whether the mid-range Exeo, which is currently being upgraded with new drives, will have a successor.
Seat Leon and Toledo are the models of hope
So the hopes of the Spanish VW subsidiary rest entirely on Toledo and León. The compact León model based on the Golf has the 1.4 TSI engine with 140 hp and cylinder deactivation and will later also be offered as a gas version. The León will be available as two- and four-door models. At the IAA 2013, Seat presented the estate version of the León, which should offer a trunk volume of more than 500 liters. The market launch is planned for 2014.
The new Toledo will be coming as early as 2013, which hardly differs from the Skoda Rapid and is built like its sister model in Mlada Boleslav.
