
Moving away from analog instruments to digital displays - at the Spanish VW subsidiary S eat it will Digital Cockpit now further rolled out. Since the Ateca and Leon series have been equipped with this since January 2018, the Arona and Ibiza series can now also benefit from the multi-customizable information center behind the steering wheel.
Displays can be customized
The 10.25 inch display (1,280 x 480 pixels) can still show displays in the analog look, but many other views can also be configured. The three views of the main display (Classic, Digital and Dynamic) can be controlled and changed using a steering wheel button.
Depending on the motif, speed, speed, assistance information, navigation, telephone, infotainment information or vehicle information are displayed. The Classic and Dynamic views can also be extensively customized. Generally, a brightness sensor adapts the display to the ambient light.
