While the Phantom is primarily intended for chauffeur use, Rolls- Royce the Ghost rather than a luxurious limousine for self-drive. This is why the car, with a length of 5.40 meters and a wheelbase of 3.30 meters, is significantly smaller than the Phantom .
Nevertheless, in addition to a luxurious interior, it also has air suspension and active roll stabilization as standard equipment.
The 2 , 5-ton Ghost from a new V12 engine with 570 hp, which is combined with an eight-speed automatic. It achieves a maximum torque of 780 Nm and accelerates to 100 km /h in 4.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km /h. Rolls-Royce with 13 .6 liters (CO2 emissions: 317 g /km).
A Rolls-Royce has alternative drives on the plan, according to developer Mühlhausen. An automatic start-stop system as well as a hybrid or electric variant is therefore not excluded. 'But that only becomes interesting for us when it no longer affects comfort.'
