Roewe Vision R Concept
Subscriptions & booklets

S the Roewe Vision R Concept makes a dynamic appearance from a muscular drawn vehicle body in combination with a filigree roof design. The front has long LED headlights and a chrome grille. Striking beads in the flanks and wide flared side skirts characterize the flanks.

Roewe Vision R Concept on Buick platform

The greenhouse design is based on slim roof arches, an invisible B-pillar and otherwise on huge glass surfaces. The roof ends well in the rear just before the high trunk lid. Wide taillights and a fat diffuser characterize the rear view. The interior offers a 2 + 2 seat configuration as well as a fully digital cockpit with a large screen.

The Roewe Vision R Concept, which will probably go into series production as a 950 in a modified form, is the chassis of the new Buick Lacrosse. This means that its drive technology should also migrate to the Roewe. Front-wheel and all-wheel drive as well as engines with 4 and 6 cylinders are conceivable. A two-liter turbo four-cylinder with 245 hp and a 3.6-liter V6 with 309 hp work in the Buick. Both work together with a nine-speed automatic. Buick operates a joint venture in China with SAIC - Roewe's parent company.
