D he last few years have been a complete success for the Retro Classics. 65,000 viewers last year impressively confirmed this trend. And in 2012 Retro Classics is well on the way to seamlessly building on the successful previous years. Two months before the start of the event, the exhibitors announced that the fair is fully booked again this year and that the Retro Classic will occupy the entire exhibition space in the eight exhibition halls. The Retro Classics, which is considered to be the largest classic car fair in southern Germany, has long since established itself in the classic car scene Here are some of the highlights of the upcoming Retro Classics:

The Maserati special exhibition is this year's highlight. Here the myth of the brand is brought closer to the visitor with rarities and racing vehicles. In addition to the famous Tipo 61 'Birdcage', the most brutal of all Maserati racing cars - the Tipo 450 S - awaits visitors , 40s and 50s, which will be exhibited in the foyer.

Friends of American automotive engineering will not be neglected this year either. This is ensured by the special exhibition 'Good Morning, America', in which American classics are presented in abundance. There is also another exhibition with hot rods based on pre-war models.

Another highlight of the fair will be a special exhibition with classic cars, manufactured vehicles and concept cars. Here visitors can take a look at the handcrafted unique items and admire top achievements of current engineering.

And young timers will also play a special role at this year's trade fair appearance alongside the classics. The special exhibition 'Silversurfer on 4 Wheels' presents perfectly maintained youngtimers from the 70s, 80s and 90s and the classics of tomorrow.

Two-wheeler fans will also get their money's worth at this year's Retro Classics. Once the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world, NSU is presenting the first Neckarsulm motorcycle and an originally preserved Feldberg machine in the large vintage motorcycle show.

Presenting under the motto 'A Horch from Horch - simply the best' Joachim Appel andhis team from Horch-Classic Stuttgart at this year's Retro Classics Stuttgart in hall 1 several extravagant Horch vehicles of the type Horch 853 and 853a as well as a Horch 853 special roadster.
In addition, the Horch 853 streamlined coupé 'Manuela' is another highlight The streamlined coupé was manufactured by Erdmann & Rossi as a one-off piece for racing legend Bernd Rosemeyer in 1937.

The Retro Night as a get-together of the automobile scene, the Lankes auction on March 23rd and 24th , a large vehicle exchange, the sales hall as well as the international parts market round off the fair offer.
