H ighlights of the 273 hp racer are the standard cup chassis with mechanical differential lock with 35 percent locking effect on the front axle and manually adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers. In addition, there is a stiffer anti-roll bar, which is intended to further reduce the tendency to roll, and a powerful Brembo brake system with large discs.

External identification of the Mégane R.S. 275 CUP-S are 18-inch light-alloy wheels in matt black. A sports steering wheel with Alcantara cover and standard sports seats enhance the interior. Renault is already offering the compact sports car at a price from 29,990 euros.
The option list also includes 19-inch rims with sports tires, a titanium sports exhaust system from Akrapovic, Recaro sports seats with leather covers, and the R online multimedia system -Link and the RS monitor.
