D he downsizing trend is also making sport before the Range Rover not stop. For the 2017 model year, the British are equipping the large Range Rover Sport with a small four-cylinder diesel engine. The two-liter unit, which is already known from various Jaguar models, delivers 240 hp thanks to a second turbocharger and serial-sequential charging and provides a maximum torque of 500 Nm. Even the small diesel is coupled with an eight-speed automatic. The model, which will be called Range Rover Sport SD4 in the future, should have a standard consumption of 6.2 liters.
Range Rover Sport with many new assistants
The new SD4 diesel variant of the Range can be recognized Rover Sport on a single twin tailpipe, while the rest of the model versions have one tailpipe on each side of the rear bumper, as before. The new 2.0-liter diesel is available in all five-seat Range Rover Sport models. The Range Rover Sport has been changed externally with new colors, further options and a new design package. The Dynamic model variants of the Range Rover Sport now present numerous body details in eye-catching Gloss Black. For the Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic, Land Rover has added a new exterior design package with silver accents.
Land Rover names the coming winter as the start of sales, with prices starting at 62,000 euros.
