Porsche 918 Spyder with CO2 emissions of 70 grams /km

The concept study was carried out at the Genfer Autosalon by Porsche boss Michael Macht and rally legend Walter Röhrl presented. As the name suggests, the Porsche 918 Spyder is an open super sports car. He thus links to the Porsche Carrera GT , which was built around 1,250 times from 2003 to 2006 and was reserved for selected customers at a unit price of 450,000 euros.

For the first time, the Zuffenhausen-based company is showing a super sports car with a plug-in hybrid drive . The centrally arranged V8 develops more than 500 hp. He is assisted by three electric motors with a total output of 160 kW. This combination should enable an average consumption of just three liters per 100 kilometers. The CO2 emissions should be only 70 grams per kilometer. The Porsche 918 Spyder has electric all-wheel drive with torque vectoring as well as the Porsche PDK dual clutch transmission and an electric boost function. Thanks to the carbon fiber monocoque, the total weight should be less than 1,490 kilograms.

The plug-in hybrid should cope with the standard sprint to maximum country road speed in under 3.2 seconds and be over 320 km /h.
