The 500 PS and up to 730 Nm of torque in the compact sports car are generated from a turbo gasoline engine and two electric motors. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder competes in the tried and tested 270 hp configuration. Coupled with the six-speed gearbox, there is an electric motor with an additional 115 hp, a second electric motor with 115 hp also spreads out on the rear axle and the 308 R Hybrid becomes an all-wheel drive. The lithium-ion battery takes the place of the tank in front of the rear axle, the 50-liter fuel bunker moved into the trunk.

aspedals switched on. In the best case, the Peugeot 308 R Hybrid sprints to 100 km /h in 4.0 seconds and is electronically braked at 250 km /h. the standard consumption is given as just over 3 liters.

The Peugeot 308 R Hybrid is delayed by 380 discs at the front, 290 discs on the rear axle and the electric motors that feed the braking energy back into the system. Alternatively, the front electric motor can act as a generator. The 308 can also refuel at the socket - a full charge takes 45 minutes.

Of course, the Peugeot 308 R Hybrid also goes its own way visually. A track widened by 80 mm leads to thicker fender cheeks at the front and rear. There are also new aprons at the front and rear as well as a bonnet with ventilation gills and a roof spoiler. The wheel arches fill 19 inchers with 235/35 tires. In the interior, the French rely on four individual seat shells, lots of leather and new textile surfaces
