Equipment features such as the Around View Monitor, which makes maneuvering easier with a 360-degree overview, are also helpful on difficult off-road terrain. The EnGuard also has two portable battery packs on board, which are charged by the diesel engine while driving. They use the same battery technology that has already proven itself in the all-electric Nissan Leaf and e-NV200 models. In the pick-up, the portable battery packs serve as an energy source for the operation of tools and machines in remote areas. The battery packs have two charging sockets - a 220-volt AC socket and a connection for solar cells - as well as five outputs: two 220-volt sockets and three USB connections.

The other emergency equipment is in drawers housed on the loading platform. In addition, the EnGuard carries various light signal devices on the roof and in the flanks.
