In exact numbers, there are 76,294 new vehicles among the total of 302,636 new car registrations, which arrive with more or less thick off-road make-up.

But there is no reason to celebrate with every model, because the registration statistics clearly show a number of moderate to bottomless crashes. The Skoda Yeti slipped all the way down with a minus of -63.6 percent, whose successor Karoq now also proves in real registration figures that it has arrived on the market. Understandable also the -39.7 percent of the Mitsubishi Pajero, the robust off-road vehicle goes into its last lap of honor. On the other hand, the massive declines in Citroën Cactus, BMW X4 and Toyota RAV4 raise bigger question marks.
But above all you should look at the positive things in life, and that's how we find out : Things are looking up at Jeep! After a very, very mixed year, the legend brand is making a year-end spurt, increasing by 22 percent compared to November 2016. But there are other candidates who are growing almost ten times as much. And not just thanks to a niche product with low levelsRegistration numbers (Lexus RX, +234 percent). But also, which is all the more honorable, coming from a high level (Audi Q2, +212 percent). The Mercedes GLC has also picked up speed (+72 percent), which has now stuck in second place. And the smallest Korean manufacturer Ssangyong can look forward to an increase of 150 percent for the flagship Rexton. The new mid-range SUV that has just been presented has what it takes to achieve further noticeable growth rates in the long term.
VW T-Roc four-digit for the first time
And then there was VW: The eternal segment Primus Tiguan (+11.5 percent) is now facing competition from its own company. The brand new T- is storming with seven-mile boots this month Roc through the table and past many established competitors.
