E s was a question of time. Since its market launch in Germany, the Ford Mustang has always been in the top group of new registration statistics from the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA). But it wasn't enough for first place. Until now. In March 2016, the Mustang defeated the German competition and climbed the top step. The pony car had a total of 780 new registrations. Reversed picture for the Mustang: Here over 70 percent of the newly registered vehicles are driven by private individuals.

The Mercedes E-Class Coupé came in behind the top 3 in March 2016 (532 new registrations). The Porsche Boxster followed one place behind. The Zuffenhausen resident was registered a total of 442 times. The other positions: Mercedes SLK /SLC (364), Mercedes-AMG GT (214), Porsche Cayman (200), BMW Z4 (163) and Maserati Ghibli (142).
