D he 46-year-old Adt has been with Daimler since 1999 and held various managerial positions in sales until 2013. Among other things, she was responsible for the global sales management of Smart and, as Chief Executive Officer of the Luxembourg sales organization, was responsible for wholesale, retail and service for Mercedes-Benz Cars, Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Mercedes-Benz buses. Between 2013 and 2014 she worked for one of the largest international HR consultancies before she returned to the HR department at Daimler as Vice President.

With her experience from various managerial functions in marketing and sales as well as the cultural development of Daimler through the group-wide initiative Leadership 2020, Katrin Adt will successfully steer the Smart brand into the future. '
Winkler will join the Daimler- Group, however, will remain connected. She will be appointed to the supervisory board of Mercedes-Benz South Africa from September 1, 2019, in order to continue to contribute her experience with employees and dealers.
