From July 1, 2022, Klaus Zellmer will take over as Chairman of the Board of Management at Skoda.
Zellmer is currently responsible for the Sales, Marketing and After Sales divisions as a member of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen brand and will take over Thomas Schäfer's post on the reporting date. He has been in charge of the operative business of the Volkswagen brand since April 1 and will take over as CEO on July 1, 2022. Klaus Zellmer, who holds a degree in business administration, started his career in 1997 as an assistant to the board of directors at Porsche AG, switched to sales network development at Porsche France in 1999 and then took over the area management for North America. After managing the customer center at the Porsche factory, Zellmer became Head of Marketing at Porsche Germany in 2007. In 2010, he changed to the position of CEO. In 2015, Zellmer joined Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, USA as President & CEO. Klaus Zellmer has been Board Member for Sales, Marketing and After Sales at Volkswagen Passenger Cars since September 15, 2020.
