G a VW model had to just twice in November to clear the top position in its segment. In the middle class, the new Mercedes C-Class is on a wave of success and thus to the top of the segment. The VW Passat is about to change the guard and slips to second place.

VW Caddy has also lost its top spot in the Utilities category. However, the VW has only swapped places with its brand brother T5, which obviously benefits from a large special model campaign. Among the athletes, the Audi TT lost its momentum from the previous month. In front is the Porsche 911, in front of the Mercedes-Duo E-Class Coupé and SLK.

VW group dominates in many classes

Untouched at the top of the Minis is the VW Up, which leaves the Fiat 500 and Renault Twingo behind. The small car segment also sees a VW at the top. The Polo stays ahead of the Opel Corsa and the Ford Fiesta. In November, the compact class will also remain firmly in the hands of the VW Golf. The Audi A3 and the Skoda Octavia follow far behind.

VW does not play a role in the upper middle class. Here the Audi A6 holds up the group flag as the front runner. Closely on his heels is the Mercedes E-Class, which in turn leaves the BMW 5 Series behind.

Movement in SUVs

S-Class and CLS from Mercedes are leading the luxury class. The Opel Mokka remains at the forefront among SUVs, but is flanked on the podium by the newcomers BMW X1 and Ford Kuga in November. The VW Tiguan remains in front of the off-road vehicle, behind it Audi Q3 and Q5 have swapped places.

The Mercedes B-Class is ahead of the minivans and the VW Touran in the large-capacity vans. Zero change in the mobile homes too. In November, no competitor came anywhere near the Fiat Ducato.
