W eil only cars since September 1st, 2018 may be registered for the first time that meet the Euro 6c or Euro 6d-Temp emission standards, numerous daily registrations of existing models that do not “conform to the standards” slightly distort the new registration statistics in August. Nevertheless, the new registrations in August should spread a lot of joy in the VW Group. It's no wonder that the VW Golf is once again at the top. The following places, which are occupied by the VW models Tiguan, Passat and Polo, were more or less to be expected. However, the success story of the VW T-Roc is almost sensational. Shortly after its market launch, the small VW SUV is already in 5th place among new registrations, a development that has already become apparent in recent months.

The top 10 will be completed in August by the Audi A4 , the far advanced Seat Leon, the Mercedes C-Class as the only non-VW group model, as well as the Skoda Fabia and the Audi A3.

Strong in the The Renault Clio (32nd place; 78.2% commercial owner) and the Hyundai i30 (34th place; 75.3% commercial owner) have also risen in the list.
