R on the 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand is the name of the new special model for friends of well-groomed terrain. Ram Trucks, the commercial vehicle division of Fiat-Chrysler in the USA, limited production to 1,500 units. Only for these there is the special color Mojave Sand, which gives the full-size pickup its name. The modification list includes a lift kit, 33-inch off-road tires, Bilstein dampers and underride protection.
Ram special models with V6 and V8
The Ram 1500 Ignition Orange Sport, on the other hand, approaches the matter from a different angle. Also limited to a total production of 1,500 units, it is aimed at bling-bling lovers. In addition to the special paintwork and vehicle-colored radiator grille, it is also equipped with a performance bonnet and up to 22-inch wheels with low-profile tires.
Both special versions have the same engine options: The standard is the Pentastar V6 with a displacement of 3.6 liters, which is coupled with an eight-speed automatic and delivers 305 hp. V8 fans can choose from the 5.7-liter Hemi with 395 hp, also connected to the eight-speed Torque.Flite automatic. While the V6 petrol engines come with all-wheel drive as standard, the superior drive concept of the V8 costs extra.
Not cheap fun
