L Dear readers,

not every anniversary gives rise to a big celebration. But the “semicircular” birthdays also need to be celebrated appropriately. Our long-time readers and subscribers know it: AUTO STRASSENVERKEHR first appeared in the summer of 65 years ago - still under the name “Der deutsche Straßenverkehr”. Because of this tradition, we feel particularly committed to you. Because, especially at a time when both the automotive industry and the publishing industry are experiencing the greatest upheaval in their history to date, it is particularly important to us to continue to provide you with the usual dose of competent and reliable information about the automotive market and its products . Whether printed on paper, as in the first 65 years of AUTO, or increasingly in digital formats in the future. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty and now invite you to take a look at the past, present and future with us in this issue.
