D he 51-year-old Starup-Hansen succeeds Eric Laforge. The 48-year-old is returning to the headquarters in Turin for EMEA Mopar. Henrik Starup-Hansen will manage the brands Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Lancia, Abarth and Mopar as the new CEO of the Frankfurt-based German sales company.

Starup-Hansen comes from the commercial vehicle sector

Born in Denmark, Starup-Hansen has many years of experience in responsible sales and marketing functions. He started his career at IVECO Denmark in January 1989 after studying finance. From September 2000 he continued his career as Sales Manager and later Marketing Director at the Turin headquarters of IVECO S.p.A. continued.

Starup-Hansen got to know the German market from June 2005 to April 2010 as General Manager Sales & Marketing and member of the board of IVECO Magirus AG in Munich. From May 2010 to March 2013 he was responsible for the European business at CNH Agricultural and Construction Machinery as Vice President for Case & New Holland Construction Machinery. Most recently he was Head of Brand Fiat Professional EMEA and thus overall responsibility for the van business of Fiat Group Automobiles SpA in Turin.
