New electric charging stations: Total wants to upgrade the petrol station network

N just a few Days before, the mineral oil company Shell had announced that it would also upgrade selected filling stations with charging stations for e-cars.

The charging stations are to be distributed along the main traffic axes through France at intervals of about 150 to 160 kilometers. In his announcement, Total boss Patrick Pouyanne did not mention a schedule for setting up the charging infrastructure. It is not yet known whether the electric charging stations will also be installed outside of France.

The mineral oil company Total has been building a second pillar for some time. The French have already invested heavily in solar energy and a battery manufacturer.
