The dimensions of the four-door remain unchanged: 3.84 meters long, 1.68 meters wide, the wheelbase is still 2.39 meters. The Italians have put a lot of hand in the design. The new front grille now has a honeycomb structure, its upper profile adopts the body color while the lower profile is chrome-plated. The bumper was also accentuated with a chrome insert. At the rear, the entire bumper is now the same color as the car. In addition, the color palette for the exterior painting has been expanded.

The interior is also enhanced by new colors and upholstery fabrics. In addition, the dashboard, the gear knob, the glove compartment, the center console and the seats themselves have been redesigned. UConnect is now part of the standard scope of the higher equipment variants.
Since the market launch, the Lancia Ypsilon can be ordered with 5 engines. The basic engine is a 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 69 hp. Alternatively, there is the 0.9-liter two-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 85 hp and semi-automatic transmission. The only diesel is the 1.3-liter four-cylinder with 95 hp. The engine range is complemented by two bifuel versions. The 69 PS 1.2 LPG /petrol engine and the 80 PS two-cylinder 0.9 TwinAir Turbo methane /petrol engine.
